Le PDG de la National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) a affirmé vendredi 11 mars, que l’Iran était prêt à fournir le pétrole nécessaire au marché mondial et à stabiliser les prix, a rapporté l’agence de presse officielle IRNA.
Le gouvernement iranien a déployé tous les efforts possibles pour récupérer la part du pétrole iranien sur le marché et l’augmenter, a confié à l’IRNA Mohsen Khojasteh Mehr, PDG de la NIOC.
« Les mesures nécessaires sont prises pour les sanctions et la période post-sanctions » de façon à ce que l’Iran revienne sur le marché mondial, a affirmé M. Khojasteh Mehr, cité par IRNA.
La position de l’Iran dans l’approvisionnement du monde en pétrole est spéciale, a-t-il dit, ajoutant que les raffineurs européens sont convaincus que l’Iran est un fournisseur d’énergie durable.
« À la NIOC, nous sommes prêts à répondre aux besoins des entreprises européennes, ainsi que d’autres entreprises », a-t-il noté.
L’Iran est tout à fait prêt à fournir tout ce que le marché attend du pétrole iranien, a souligné M. Khojasteh Mehr.
L’industrie pétrolière iranienne et ses exportations sont soumises à des sanctions unilatérales américaines depuis l’été 2018, période au cours de laquelle l’ancien président américain a retiré Washington de l’accord sur le nucléaire de 2015 et a rétabli de nouvelles sanctions contre Téhéran.
