En marge de sa participation en tant que représentant du Président de la République au Sommet italo-africain, le ministre des Affaires étrangères et de la Communauté nationale à l’étranger, M. Ahmed Attaf , dans la capitale italienne, Rome, a eu hier des entretiens bilatéraux avec son homologue italien, M. Antonio Tajani.
A cette occasion, le ministre Ahmed Attaf a renouvelé ses félicitations à la République amie d’Italie pour son initiative de tenir ce sommet et pour le lancement du « Plan Mattei pour l’Afrique », exprimant la disposition de l’Algérie à contribuer au succès de ce plan et à atteindre les objectifs souhaités.
A différents niveaux. Les deux ministres ont également profité de cette occasion pour évoquer plusieurs dossiers liés aux relations de coopération et de partenariat entre l’Algérie et l’Italie, outre un échange de vues sur les dernières évolutions de la situation dans les territoires palestiniens occupés, ainsi que dans la région sahélo-saharienne.
