Les artistes Didine Karoum et Mehdi Tamache ont animé, vendredi soir, un récital de musique Chaâbi à la salle Atlas d’Alger dans le cadre des soirées de Ramadhan.
Les deux artistes ont interprété plusieurs qacidate et chansons Chaâbi pendant plus d’une heure, avec notamment l’artiste Karoum, l’un des élèves de Boudjemaâ El Ankis qui a présenté un répertoire diversifié entre le ksid et les chansons Chaâbi.
L’artiste Karoum a enchanté le public par un cocktail de chansons tels que « Talebkoum Deif Allah » du cheikh Ahmed El Gharabli et le ksid « Korsan Eghanem » connu pour être interprété avec brio par le défunt El Hachemi Guerouabi et « Ya Laâdhra » de Amar Ezzahi et « Lik Amri Ya Rab » de Boudjemaâ El Ankis.
Il a exprimé sa joie par rapport à ce concert qui a eu lieu « après une longue absence en raison de la pandémie de la Covid-19 », ajoutant que le Chaâbi « est une musique algérienne ancestrale et une école artistique, éducative et divertissante ».
La deuxième partie du concert a été égayée par l’artiste Mehdi Tamache qui a repris des chants religieux (madih) et des chansons sociales.
L’artiste a estimé que « le retour à l’interprétation de la chanson Chaâbi après une longue période d’arrêt à cause de la covid-19 est en quelque sorte difficile », soulignant que cette soirée « est un rendez-vous pour raviver cet art ».
Organisateur de ce concert, l’Office national de la culture et de l`information (Onci) a programmé à travers ses différents espaces à l’échelle nationale un éventail d’événements culturels et artistiques à l’occasion du mois de Ramadhan, notamment à la salle Atlas où debrillants artistes du Chaâbi animeront des soirées musicales tels que Abderrahmane El Kobbi, Nacer Eddine Galiz et Sid Ali Lakkam.
