Le ministre de l’Intérieur, des Collectivités locales et de l’Aménagement du territoire, Kamel Beldjoud, a rencontré, hier lundi 11 juillet, à El-Tarf, son homologue tunisien Tawfik Charafeddine, dans le cadre des préparatifs en cours pour rouvrir les frontières terrestres entre les deux pays aux voyageurs à compter du 15 juillet.
La rencontre s’est déroulée au poste frontalier d’Oum Tboul, où le point a été fait sur les préparatifs relatifs à la réouverture des frontières terrestres entre l’Algérie et la Tunisie, en application de la décision commune du président de la République, Abdelmadjid Tebboune et de son homologue tunisien, Kaïs Saïed, de rouvrir les frontières terrestres entre les deux pays à la mi-juillet. La rencontre a eu lieu en présence des walis des wilayas frontalières avec la Tunisie, à savoir El-Tarf, Tébessa, Souk-Ahras et El-Oued, ainsi que du directeur général des Douanes algériennes, Noureddine Khaldi.
Le Président Tebboune avait annoncé, la semaine dernière, la décision commune avec son homologue tunisien de rouvrir les frontières aux mouvements des voitures et des personnes avec le pays frère, la Tunisie, à compter du 15 juillet.
La frontière algéro-tunisienne était jusque-là ouverte au seul mouvement de transport des marchandises.
