L’Algérie, manifestement, ne lésine pas sur son soutien au Soudan en ces temps difficiles. Les deux pays entretiennent des relations solides et partagent de nombreux intérêts communs, témoignant ainsi de l’importance des liens séculaires qui unissent les deux nations. La solidarité entre les deux nations se reflète également dans le soutien du Soudan à l’Algérie en tant que membre du Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies.
Dans une déclaration conjointe à la presse, le président de la république, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a réaffirmé ce dimanche, le soutien de l’Algérie au Soudan pour surmonter la conjoncture difficile et faire face aux forces du mal qui le cible, saluant, par la même, les relations séculaires qui unissent les deux pays frère.
Le président du Conseil de souveraineté de l’Etat du Soudan a exprimé sa satisfaction « de savoir l’Algérie présente à toute table de débat ou de négociations arabe ou régional ». L’Algérie « a toujours soutenu le Soudan »et le peuple algérien « est connu pour son nationalisme et sa défense des causes justes », a ajouté le général al-Burhan.
