« L’Algérie condamne dans les termes les plus forts les attentats qui ont secoué la capitale ougandaise Kampala, le 16 novembre 2021, causant la mort de 6 victimes et une trentaine de blessés », lit-on dans le communiqué du ministère.
« En cette pénible circonstance, l’Algérie assure l’Ouganda, peuple et gouvernement frères, de son plein soutien contre l’agressivité terroriste et présente ses sincères condoléances aux familles des victimes ainsi que ses souhaits de prompt rétablissement aux blessés », ajoute la même source.
Le ministère souligne que « l’Algérie est convaincue que le peuple ougandais saura, en ces moments de dure épreuve, mobiliser ses forces pour dépasser cette conjoncture difficile dans l’unité et le civisme ».
« Cette nouvelle manifestation de violence aveugle prouve, une fois encore, que l’éradication du terrorisme, qui doit demeurer une priorité, requiert une solidarité agissante à l’échelle continentale ainsi qu’une coopération accrue pour réactiver les mécanismes mis en place pour contrer ce fléau en expansion continue », conclut le communiqué.
