Le musicien, compositeur et interprète Baâziz a enchanté, jeudi 14 avril, le nombreux public algérois, avec un florilège de ses chansons, anciennes et nouvelles dans une ambiance de grands soirs.
Accueilli au Théâtre national Mahieddine-Bachtarzi (TNA), dans le cadre de son programme d’animation du mois de Ramadhan, Baâziz, accompagné d’un orchestre de sept musiciens virtuoses, a entonné une trentaine de pièces, rendues dans différentes cadences du terroir, mais aussi du patrimoine mondial.
Heureux de retrouver son public, Baâziz a déclaré s’exprimer « avec la même ferveur qu’avant mais de façon différente », après avoir rompu avec une absence durant laquelle il avait « pris du recul », avait-il déclaré, pour « s’auto-évaluer et faire le bilan » d’une trentaine d’années de présence sur la scène artistique.
Baâziz , Abdelaziz Bakhti de son vrai nom, trublion depuis 1989, année où il avait fait ses débuts, revient « interroger la société » après avoir sorti sept albums dont « 10 ans de Chaâbi Rock’n bled », « Dorénavant » ou encore « Life in Algeria ».
